The Tainted Coin:Mel Starr

Quick read, medieval mystery while I work through a book I may not get through.

It’s one of a series, so has a fan base, but the most interesting thing about it was its setting- Abingdon mostly! Lots of horse riding between Abingdon and East and West Hanney- and we live just off the Hanney road in Steventon. Also mentioned were houses on East St Helen, Ock Street and the bury, and the abbey buildings.

Then the really most interesting thing was finding that the editor was someone we know from church, Jan Greenough.
